ROOM TO CREATE - STUDIO HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Public Liability Insurance
• All hirers must provide valid public liability insurance covering their activity. Bookings cannot be confirmed until insurance is received and approved.
2. Booking & payment
• Payment is required in advance to secure your time slot.
• Hourly rate: €30 per hour / €15 per half hour
• Hourly rate with backdrops + lighting: €50 per hour / €25 per half hour
• Day rate: €200 (8 hours) – Day rate with backdrops & lighting: €360 (8hrs)
• Regular weekly slots must be paid 4 weeks in advance
3. Studio hire times & fees
• All sessions must finish within the booked time, including setup and pack-down.
• All studio hire must begin on the hour or half hour.
This means:
• If you need time before a class to set up
• And time after a class to pack up that time must be included in your booking.
Example: If your class runs from 4–5pm and you need:
• 15 minutes to set up
• 15 minutes to pack up
You would need to run your class from 4:15-5:15pm
Your booking time would then be: 4:00–5:30pm to include the set-up and pack-up time. The total hire would therefore be: 1.5 hours and cost €45
4. Cancellation Policy
One-Off Bookings
• Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the booking start time will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the booking start time are non-refundable.
Regular Weekly Bookings
• Once booked, weekly slots are non-refundable, including if a class does not run due to low attendance. Missed sessions cannot be carried forward or credited.
Exceptional Circumstances
• Room to Create reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. building issues). In this case, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
5. Studio Use & Conduct
• Hirers must respect the space, neighbours, and noise levels. Please close the studio door during sessions.
• No smoke, fire, or hazardous materials.
• The studio is on the 3rd floor with no lift.
• Do not lean or push on the mirrors. Do not stick or attach anything to mirrors.
• Backdrops and lighting must be booked in advance.
• Handle all equipment with care. Please report any damage immediately.
• The studio must be returned to its original condition after use.
6. Key Access
• Studio keys may be provided to regular hirers for convenience when attending scheduled
sessions.
• The key may only be used for confirmed booking times.
• Access to the studio outside booked and paid hire times is not permitted.
• Any additional time used will be charged according to the studio hire rates.
• Keys must not be copied, shared, or given to third parties.
• Hirers are responsible for ensuring the studio is locked and secured when leaving.
• Misuse of the key may result in immediate withdrawal of key access or termination of
studio hire.
7. Safety & Responsibility
• Hirers are responsible for the safety and supervision of their group.
• Children must be supervised at all times.
• Airtracks (inflatable gymnastics tracks) are not allowed to be used at any stage.
• Room to Create is not responsible for injury, lost or damaged personal items, or participant belongings.
• Hirers must ensure their activity is safe and appropriate for the space.
8. Parking
• There is a 4-hour parking limit in the surrounding area.
• It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure vehicles are moved within the allowed time. Room to Create is not responsible for parking fines, clamping, or towing.
9. Management Rights
• Management reserves the right to refuse admission to any person or group.
• Management may cancel or stop any booking if behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or in breach of the terms. If a booking is terminated due to misconduct, no refund will be issued.
10. Agreement
• By booking the studio, the hirer agrees to all terms listed above.
• Studio hire constitutes a temporary licence to use the space and does not grant tenancy or
subletting rights.
• These terms may be updated at any time to ensure safety and proper use of the space.
